Subject:  ARS Spartan Sprint, FOBB and an anniversary

The Adventure Radio Society's monthly Spartan Sprint will take place on our standard date: the first Monday of the month, which is tomorrow, May 5, 2008. For details, click on the Spartan Sprint link on the right hand side of the ARS home page at the link below.

In addition, if you'd like to participate in 2008's Flight of the Bumblebees in July, please click on the link on the right hand side of the ARS home page for all the details: rules, how to request a "bee" number and the current "bee" roster.

Finally, we would be remiss in not recognizing May 2008, the 12th anniversary of the Adventure Radio Society - launched with an announcement on QRP-L on May 1, 1996.

To everyone who through the years have supported ARS activities both in the field, on the air and on line, we thank you very, very much. And we look forward
to see what the next dozen years bring.
