Ran in the Grid Sq. contest yesterday using the K3 in contest mode for the first time. I was on from home for about 2 1/2 hours collected 23 q's with 18 grids all on 20M using a Hex Beam. Worked AA4XX three times on his travels.
The narrow DSP adjustment is terrific. Found I had inadvertently recorded into Bank 2 of the memory buttons. Lots of fun.
Stopped short to set up keyboard CW using AC Log as a contest logger. By the time I had it working, the contest was over.
But maybe next time.
