Hi folks. I currently only have a HW-8 and will be looking throughout the year at my options for a new QRP rig and am trying to decide between the OHR-500 and the Elecraft K1. Eham has tons of reviews on the k1 and a few on the 500. Both sound good but both are quite different. I like the simplicity of the 500 (similar to the HW-8 in appearance and ease of use) but the K1 seems to have soooo many supporters. Any thoughts here on which is best?

I am not backpacking...mostly indoor use from external battery. Straight key...keyer not needed (for now). Is it just a matter of taste?
