Would an Oak Hills Research DD-1 digital dial work?
I have one but have not got it hooked up to my Explorer II on 40 meters yet. From the instructions that came with it, it sounds like it will work with just about any radio. Getting some help from a friend shortly about how to wire mine up to the Explorer II.
Just a suggestion but may be worth checking into.
