I would suggest you call Burghardt Radio in
Watertown, SD. Dave Smith KA0JDN is the service
manager/CET and I can really recommend their service
and rates. I sent my IC746 in for repair about the
10th of January and had it back on the 18th. Rates
are 75 an hour which is under that of others
including Icom. I would give him a call and see if
they do the Kenwood repair at: 605-886-7314.
Only cost a couple of bucks to check and make sure
he can do the job.
