Hi Jim,

Thanks for your message. I appreciate the welcome. If I
remember right, it took 7-10 days to get my number. I
posted a message wondering how long I should expect to
wait for the number and got several answers, most of
which were not satisfactory. All in all, however, it
came through fairly quickly after those exchanges. I
was surprised.

I have recently taken a new job that might require me
to work overtime on weekends. I hope to be in the
Fall QSO Party if I do not end up working. Sounds like
you are doing quite well on the 200 ARCI Members
certificate. Cool!

I just ordered several Pixie2 kits and hope to have
them running before the Fall QSO Party. I normally
run with a full "QRP Gallon" using my FT-817. I have
kind of been bitten by the QRPp bug now and want to try
a minimal rig like a Pixie2 in the less than one watt
power level. That, with my full wave vertical loop
for 80-10m should work quite nicely. We shall see.

Best regards,

Gary, K7EK
