Gary,
I called the person that handles the membership database.Her records indicate that you joined via Pay Pal on Spepember 23 at 1:25 PM EDST. Not quite three days ago. They were away for a long weekend and just got back late last night. Your membership will be processed today, and an email sent to you with your membership number.

A new member is processed within a week of receipt of information - both for Pay Pal and those received by surface mail. If an email address was provided, an email is sent with the membership number. If email info is not provided, a letter is sent with the membership number.

As Steve pointed out, all our volunteers and sometimes other issues cause delays in the process. I hope you enjoy the magazine and the club activities.
