The following was posted by the Moderator of another list. It was so well said that I just had to pass it along. I wish there were more like this.

"THIS moderator is able and willing to deal with problems that really are problems. However, disagreement is not a problem. The unwillingness to let other disagree is a big problem and will not be tolerated on this list.

If you cannot live with opinions that differ from your own, PLEASE unsubscribe now. Instead of calling those who disagree with you "trolls" and "malcontents," why not offer clear, compelling, persuasive arguments to support your point of view ?

The First Amendment is alive and well in this forum. As Voltaire is attributed with saying, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." '
