Hi All.

Just a quick posting about our FD experience this year.

I operated along with my wife Wendy from the local Wal-Mart parking lot. We set up two stations, one on PSK31 and the other for SSB/CW.

The photo below is from Day 1: The 40m fishing pole veritcal was being used as the PSK31 40m antenna, and there as a 20m dipole also up that was being used for CW/SSB at the time.

Notice the stiff wind ... also notice that while the antennas stayed up, the tent wasn't as lucky! The leg pole bent right in half!

I think that wind was pushing my RF away as well, but I can't prove it.

All total, 79 QSOs in a very casual operating atmosphere.
