Mark,
Dunno if this has any bearing on your situation...
My endfed wire (80m in length) and tuned with an AH-4,
does a great job of overloading all my rigs' receivers with rf from local standard AM broadcast band stations..especially those between 880 and 1000 KHz. I now use 50-ohm 'transceiving' bandpass filters between the coax feed to the AH-4 and my rigs.
Now, my only problem is with the one on 890 KHz...its 4th harmonic is still noticeable at 3560, possibly caused by a bad joint in some new guttering/downspouts.
Good luck in eliminating your QRM.
