1. I just spent some time looking (again) at Dan's & Doug's SDR board. Thru-hole . . . Verry interesting.
2. Mark/K5DP's problem with that antenna makes me hope he has reasonable weather to chase whatever jimmied up connection I suspect is hiding between him & the feed point (or which squirrelll has been gnashing on an insulator
3. I'm glad my car still runs & that I haven't gone into playing blackjack, texas hold-ems & have stayed away from lotto tickets for a while.
4. And I'm happy that 40m & 75/80m sound somewhat more like I'm used to. (Was it bad memory or what made me think this last flare was the worst condx I've seen in a long, long time? I could hardly hear Gorniak on 75 & he's insane with power.)
5. Can we please get a grip on this dagnab CW/No CW argument? Like the bad band condx of recent, I don't remember anybody being so uncivil as the last couple half-dozen posts, fer cryin' out loud.
6. Please respond to me about this off the list if you must. And only if you must. Fights don't belong here, never should start here and should not even have to be stopped here. (And ZUI my blog on the subject before you snarl. The link's below.)
