One thing is certain. The number of cw operators will not grow. There is no need for it now. I notice in the big dx cw contest 99% are using keyboards and automatic keyers. We are the last cw operators and from the moment on our numbers will drop off. FISTS try their best to keep it alive but I believe it is a loosing battle. There is only one contest that has actual cw operators and that is straight key night and a lot of cheating going on there.

The internet killed cw and ham radio, to me the future looks very dim.
