However, I don't see it changing my operations too much. I just bought 3 Twofer transmitter kits (thanks Doug) and plan to continue my qrp operations as before, perhaps maybe even more. I still have a 7122 crystal that I got from Norcal some years ago and that will work very nicely just below the ssb that is now on what was the 40m novice segment. My feeling is that cw like sailing, may be not for all, but it will not go away and it is their loss, not mine. And if the FCC such as it is makes more detrimental changes to the amateur radio hobby, I can be thankful that I was taught how to read when in school and will enjoy my stacks and shelves of books. And no qrm. |
