Y'all,

Barely remembering all the ICs I've collected for the hoarding toward retirement projects, I googled TDA1083 and found a Slavic language/Cyrillic text site (which translated from Russian) where US5QBR came up with a design for a SSB rx using a TDA1083 IC.

I ain't yet gotten fired up enough to finish my little online research project about machine translation (shades of Neuromancer). This will at least be more interesting than the German translation of Burroughs' "Thanksgiving Day Prayer" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7Z_08o108E).

I asked for a tower for Christmas but Cindy just laughed. So I asked for a Samlex SEC-25 and she just smiled. So I asked for a wooden cabinet AM/SW radio like grandpa had and she said something I can't repeat in nice company.
