I have an excellent 40 meter EMTECH transceiver for sale. It includes a
KC2 and the optional AF-1 audio filter. It does not have the variable
bandpass filter. This rig has an interesting history. When I was
stationed in Germany, I bought the kit from someone other than Roy
Gregson at EMTECH. I built it, but it would not work. I called Roy who
suggested that I send it to him. I did. He sent me a letter stating
that the board that I was using was a very old one which had many serious
problems. He said that he did not want to work on it. Roy offered to
give me a working rig to replace the one I had returned to him. Since
then, I installed the rig in EMTECH's case. The KC1 paddle jack in
installed where the variable bandbass filter pot normally goes. I used
this rig as my primary 40 meter rig while I was in Europe. It works
great. I am selling it because I have too many rigs around the shack.
