I'm not sure what PSK31 software does for you without a soundcard.. This is where the input and output
is done. The nice thing about these new soundcard programs/modes is that they take advantage of the
built-in digital signal processing of the soundcard's software etc.

I would concentrate on finding a soundcard for your lappy or find a cheap laptop with one.
