Hi Gang,
Hate to post this here but,can not get resubscribed no matter what I do to Qrp-L.
I have a 38 Special I built some years ago that has never quite been right.It has been on and off my "bench" for some time.I need some help because locally there aren't any kit builders to help me figure this out.I am also quite limited in the test equiptment department,just a DVM.It was my first kit.
The receiver works great however,it appears I am getting very little power out with the 5w mod.Also on long keydowns
the sidetone will begin to distort and the 74HC240 gets warm to the touch.
I won't get into it much more here due to space(I have tried several things).
If there is anyone within a reasonable driving distance from me that would be willing to help it would be greatly apprieciated.I would like to get this rig working.
