FDIM is about 6 weeks out. I am looking forward to renewing friendships as
well as meeting some first timers. One new aspect to this years event are
the design contests - the 1 Volt and 48 volt challenges. I am especially
pleased to announce that we now have three well know designers that will
judge these two events. They are:

Gary Breed, K9AY - Renown builder and designer. Well known for the design
of QRP transceivers.

Wayne Burdick. N6KR - Well know designer of the NC 40, Sierra and K2. Also
the originator of the 1 volt challenge.

Jim Kortge, K8 IQY - Winner of the 2N2222 design/construction contest.

If you are planning on entering a design in either the 1 volt or 48 volt
challenge, please forward the schematic and any other documentation to me by
April 15. I will then forward them to the judges. One entry is already on
the way from Europe!

You need not be at Dayton to enter. Just get the information to me. More
information on all aspects of FDIM 2000 are found at
http://www.qrparci.org/fdim64.html.
