I built a 20m version a bit over a year ago. I like the rig and at that time, it was one of the best 20m monobanders you could buy. I'm not so sure that's true anymore though with the DSW rigs from Small Wonder Labs. They are at least as easy to build for a first-time kit builder and alignment is much easier. Plus, the DSW comes with a built-in keyer and audio freq annunciator. I added these items to my OHR-100A, but they're "stock" items with the DSW.
The DSW only puts out 2 or 3 watts to the OHR's 5 though, if that's important to you. A friend of mine is working on getting his ham ticket and asked me for a kit recommendation. I told him about the DSW, he built it (with no prior kit experience) and it works great. He may not have been able to align and install options into the OHR to make it comparable to the DSW.
