The main thing going for the SW+40 over the DSW40 is that you can learn some theory behund radio by building the SW+40 while following the Elmer101 "course". I have (and love) the DSW40 but have often considered the SW+40 for the Elmer course.

Can't really go wrong with either. And Dave Benson is phenominsl for helping when you get into trouble with his kits.
