Pete, I can't speak to the SW40, but I can the DSW40, which I believe has the be the best little single band QRP rig on the market--that is, the DSW series. I've built the DSW40 and DSW30 and love them both. I'll be doing another band soon. Building is easy and fun, and alignment is slick as a whistle. Performance? I've worked bundles of DX on both bands. You'll love the CW frequency readout, RIT, keyer, etc. No, I don't work for SW Labs, but I'd be good salesman for these little rigs. Hi! 73. Dale, K4EQ
