For 4 hours each day, sunday 26 Dec. - 28 dec. the Knightlites mW contest will be tapping cw on the prime QRP freqs.
Get on and crank it down to 900mW or less, or as low as you feel you can make a QSO. The big points are going to those running the least milliwatts.Look for several QRP club stations running 50mW's at times.
Today Sunday the 26th the test starts at 1800z running to 2200z. The second day the 27th it's 2000z - 0000z. And the final day the 28th 2200z - 0200z.
Look for the Arkansas QRP club station, NQ5RP on 14.060, 21.060, & 28.060mHz. Power will range from 250mW - 50mW, depending on conditions.
If you work a club stn that is running 250mW, that QSO is worth 3000 points, or at 100mW its 4000 points, and if 50mW a cool 5000 points is your reward.
You send in your logs for the best 2 out of 3 days in the test. There are REAL cool prizes to the winners.
The rules are posted on my webpage, so see you in the contest!
