Let's talk about it here. One thing - I notice some real slow CW on 7.030. Is this the new "practice"
frequency? I think there are lots of new Extras that passed the 5wpm code who need a place to build their
speed and it may be 7.030. Now that may actually be a plus for moving QRP to 7.030 as we do a lot of
rather slow speed CW on our frequencies and we'd likely attract a lot of new QRPers if we talked to these
slow speed folks around 7.030.


You may be hearing the infamous KA0 that has been sending "code practice" from the Bible 24/7 for some time now. Hopefully, his days are numbered, as I understand he got a letter from Riley.

Sounds like a good idea. I would hate to think about replacing all those 7040 crystals in my 40-9er, Rockmite, TT2, Pixie, MRX40...etc.
