Jeff,

I've worked half way around the world, as have many other QRPers,with much less than 5 Watts. But there are times when 100 W isn't enought too.

On the rig, I had an IC706MKIIG and it was an OK rig. I sold it and bought an FT-857. It has many more features and more up-to-date capabilities -- IMHO. I like it a lot better than the 706 even with the samller screen size...[g]
