I am thinking of buying a Icom IC-703 for installation in a small aircraft for trans-atlantic ferry flights, i am wondering, as this unit transmits 10w max, will range be badly affected in comparison to a unit outputting 100w, and how much of a percentage are we talking about? Any answers would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
