Jim...You know the guys in the North Georgia QRP Club are proud as punch. We expect nothing but the best from you and are sure that your are the right person at the RIGHT TIME.

ARCI has special QRP community responsibilities that transend individual clubs. At the same time ARCI is the unique postion to give back support to local and regional clubs that are struggling with startup-itis and other maladies associated with very small groups working at infrequent and unstructured meetings.

I see evidence of great effort and undertaking by the regional and local clubs and I know ARCI can rally support for the national and international levels from these excellent sources.

The internet is bringing on a publication capability that enables small groups to achieve outstanding offerings. No longer does the cost of printing and mailing need to get in the way of serious "free" information. A recent example that I've seen is the "IOWA QRP Newsletter", an on-line pubication that has every bit the quality of any the the "well known" club quarterly journals. I was blown away with their quarterly effort. ARCI needs to make sure that notifications for these types of on-line services are broadcast to the QRP community at large.

Jim congratulations on your new duties and please keep a little time in your backpocket for NOGA.
