I recently HB'd a ZM-2 & after some retracing of my steps, found a couple of misplaced connections. Well I've got it working like a charm. Tunes 80-10 No problem. It can get close on 160, but I just don't have enough wire in the air & the ZM-2 runs out of cap.
My question is, even thogh the led goes out, there is still some reflected power. anywhere from 20-100mw. I can touch it up when I'm using my WM-1 meter to take out all but 10 or so mw, but when I'm in the field w/o the meter, there is still that bit of Reflected power. Am I spliting hairs here or is this a legitimate problem? Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
