Harvey that was great today on 28.060mHz! As long as we have the band condx we better monitor this spot. Quiet noise levels in most areas. Well, quieter than most bands anyway. hi
I had a 2 AH C cell btry pak on the car seat running the QRP+. And a 4' converted CB antenna. This afternoon I had some nice QSO's and rag chews with mW's.
Had to go to 2w one time to finish a QSO. The band had deep QSB so had to watch for that.
I was trolling and caught V47BY as he just started CQ'ing. Called him twice with 220mW and he got my call right! cool
Then VE3DJX/QRP and wow! A 559 with 200mW! cool agn!!
The rag chew of the afternoon was with AA3RI in Pa. He was in a condo with an attic dipole and never lost me in a 15min Q.
Great working Bob, N4BP and Harvey N6MM. An excellent afternoon!
Thanks everyone... de Jim 72/71's
