Posted by:  W4CKH Posted On:  06/19/04 Subject:  Public Relations Message Posted: An acquaintence asked me "Did you see that ham radio show on TV"?. I paused for a minute realizing he had no idea about ham radio and ashamedly said "No, I am sorry". The guy said there was a program on the "DIY" channel. Since I am not a TV person, I inquired as to what "DIY" was. Too make a long story short, there was a ham on the Do-It-Yourself Channel who had built radios in tin cans. Then I checked the DIY web site and sure enough, ham radio got a nice "plug". Great Job. 73's.
