The 2004 FDIM Buildathon is being hosted by the Flying Pigs QRP Club. The project
will be a microcontroller development kit that supports an Analog Devices DDS chip. This kit has been designed as a learning tool to better understand microcontrollers and the
software [firmware] that makes them work.

The buildathon will start at 5 PM on Thursday, May 13. It will consist of a short overview of the operational details of Atmel AVR chips followed by the construction of the AVR-DEV printed circuit board. Upon completion of the kit, you will have a device that is capable of generating RF from an AD9835 DDS chip (0 to 20 MHz) with an accuracy of better than 1 Hz.
