I think this may be a first, but here goes--someone who has no access to the Internet asked me if there was some way he could find a ham pen pal to correspond with on a more or less monthly basis, presumably about technical and homebrewing matters. He's a ham himself, and interested in QRP. He's written to me a couple of times, and sent me something for my column in the QRP Quarterly (which will appear in the next issue).

Although I have not tried to verify that it's legit, his letters always come with the return address of a correctional institution in Florida. That's why this may be a first :-) And the envelopes are usually marked with what appears to be an official rubber stamp.

If anyone would be interested in corresponding, contact me by e-mail and I'll pass along his name and address. (And no, I have no idea what he's in for or how long, and I think I'll let him bring up the subject first!)
