Yes, I have the narrow CW filter in my CX7A also. With the passband shift, you can get painfully narrow with it. It's OK if you have a signal tuned in, and want to eliminate QRM, but not so good for "checling the band," or for that matter, hearing the guy answering your CQ that's a few hundred cycles (oops...hertz) off frequency.
