Good job, Dave. Nice to work you in the contest.
Here, 512 QSOs - 73 sections. Missed VI, ND and half of Canada - SK, QC, MAR, NL.
The K2 worked great. Used my laptop to run TR-Log. Keying interface with paddle input came in handy. Did almost as well as any SS I've done at 100W!
80 and 15 were the money bands for me, but tried to spread myself around them all. Started on 10 and worked down Saturday. Caught Hawaii early. Heard several Alaska, but couldn't get through until I ran into KL7Y. Dan has a big station and good ears. I've worked him in alomst every contest and on every band. Caught Jay, VY1JA on 15 Sunday afternoon and got him almost first call. WP3R was the 10th QSO, but never heard a VI. Chased a VE5 around the band, but he was S&P and never heard him stop and call CQ. Eastern Canada seems to continue it's boycott of Sweepstakes (at least in my log.) Didn't even hear many VE3s and I'm only 20 miles from the border!
Anyway, I'm impressed at my first QRP Sweeps. Came pretty easy with the K2. My only question is: will my PIN be smaller for QRP? ;-)
Hope to CU al in SS Phone from NNY.
