The Trans Provincial Net has been in operation in Canada since 1982. I know at times there has been some difficulties with CW operations in the USA in this portion of the band.

There are many facts missing in Ron's report, however his approach to the situation certainly demonstrates what a responsable Ham should not do. Rather than go into a lot of details on this posting perhaps I could refer you to this article.

My friends is this the way to cooperate and get along? We have many fine Amateurs from the USA that are regular members on the TPN and I look forward to the day that our friends south of the border have HF preileges below 7.150Mhz
