John,

I believe Radio Shack used to sell this radio or an earlier version. I think it is like the one I owned and it was amazing. I could pick up AM stations way outside my listening area even in daytime. Mine conked out and when I took it to R/S they said they could not fix it or it would cost as much to fix as a new one which they no longer sold.

Now that I searched around based on your question, I think I'll get me one of these SuperRadio III's myself.
