Sometimes folks who aren't real familiar with these tools don't know, or don't remember, some things that are obvious to those of us who eat, sleep and drink computers.

When someone posts an URL and it's not a link simply do the following:

- Move your mouse to one end of the URL
Be sure you get the I-beam cursor
- Holding down MB1 (usually the left mouse button)
drag the mouse over the url making it reverse color
- Type Ctrl+C
- Click in the 'Address' box at the top of the screen
usually this will reverse it, if not you may have
to drag the mouse over the text
- Type Ctrl+V
- Hit return

This will take you to the page referenced without having to retype the URL. It may take a little practice to select the URL without selecting extra spaces, etc.
