Got my IC703 back after its trip to the factory for repairs. The RF output basically went away on it as I detailed in my other posts. The verdict from ICOM was pretty simple: The driver transistor died. It was replaced, and the radio seems to be working ok now. How long this magic will continue to prevail is anyone's guess. As if there was any doubt before, there is now clearly a pattern to the 703 failures. A sad thing for a new and very promising QRP rig.
