Subject:  Japan Ham Fair 2003

The largest hamfest in Japan, the Ham Fair, was held this weekend in Tokyo. There wasn't as much QRP equipment displayed this year as in the past couple of years. The floor area of the show was down slightly from last year, with most of the reduction coming from the commercial exhibits.

There were still a number of interesting products, including a new Kenwood HF/50 MHz all mode transceiver. Alinco's DX-801 is a simple HF rig in a mobile form factor. W3FF was there with the Buddipole.
