Steve,
Very sorry to hear about your xmit trouble with the '703.
Just curious...can you tell whether the rig has ANY rf output...say, a few milliwatts?
Xmit dead on ALL bands?
Or, perhaps you've already packed it up for warranty repairs by Icom.
In talking with other '703 owners, transmitter problem devices so far seem to be Q150, the driver transistor on the bottom board and IC101, an rf chip on the top board.
Good luck with your rig...it is fun, when it's working...
