There are numerous books, a lot of general information types, and some of the best info I have seen is in the catalogs from some of the providers. They cover load requirements, batteries, inverters(if needed) mounting, etc. One book I have is by Edward Noll W3FQJ, some years old now but the principle is still there - used an Argo 505 or 509 in a low power station. The book is: Wind/Solar Energy, Edward M Noll, Howard W Sams, ISBN 0-672-21305-2. Some solar dealers and their websites(most have paper type catalogs available) are: www.sunelco.com www.solarenergylimited.com/technologyproducts.htm www.homesteadsolar.com www.backwoodssolar.com www.kansaswindpower.net (also solar, batteries, etc) www.ctsolar.com www.seslogic.com (sunlight energy) www.realgoods.com www.realgoods.com/times/pastissues.cfm (newsletters) Maybe that will be enough to get you started. 73 |
