Message Posted: I answered a CQ on 7.040 from NJ0E - Scott - a couple hours before FD began and became a convert!!! He was running 0.5 watt using his Rockmite mounted in an Altoids tin. He was in Dripping Springs, TX and we enjoyed a 30-minute QSO despite some QRN and QSB. That experience pushed me over the edge!!! Yes, I ordered a Rockmite and it should be here in about 3 weeks.
