I contacted ARRL and they said that the car battery cannot be used and still meet the 5 point multiplier requirements. If I had another battery in the car that was not charged during the field day that would be OK, but if I drive the car then I am using a motor driven generator. I guess there is no advantage to using QRP in this catagory.
