Subject:  Can A Rookie Build A Rock-Mite?

I have never built a kit before and was facinated by the articles in the April and May 2003 QST's about the Rock-Mite. There was also a nice article in June 2003 CQ about Pixies, Tixies and Rock-Mites,etc. Now...I want to try my hand at building my own QRP transceiver.

My question is...I am not an experienced kit-builder and was wondering if the Rock-Mite would be a good QRP rig project for a rookie? I wanted something a bit more challenging than a pixie appears to be, but again, something that is not too terribly difficult for a rookie.

Of course, any help, comments or pearls of wisdom would be appreciated. Thank you!
