I referred to the band edge marker tone incorrectly.

It does not tell you that you are wandering outside FCC limits (except on 10m), but what it does tell you instead is that you have selected a frequency sub-band in which the 703 will receive but NOT transmit. It's a considerable difference, and I regret the error.

When I first examined this feature, as luck would have it, I was on ten.
