Sounds like a cool little rig.
I would appreciate your assessment of the 703's QSK characteristics. Another review I read mentioned relay clicking noise while keying...did Icom ACTUALLY use a RELAY in the T/R circuitry ? Good grief...
Seems Icom's price on filters represents a high percentage of total rig price but that's just marketing strategy, I suppose.
Anyway, I can feel those bucks trying to escape my wallet in order to please daddy by buying a new radio for him :)
Dare I say it ? May even turn in my Rock-Mite-RTTY rig for this baby...
