I'd suggest having a basic working rig to start with. You can use it as "test equipment" while you build other QRP projects. Otherwise...

Good sources of QRP transmitter and receiver schematics and other QRP info are the ARRL QRP books by W1FB. Circuit boards for several of them can be obtained from Far Circuits.
