But as I was fighting it out yesterday
trying to pin down AB5UA I came to realize that
once I got the fox to hear my call, my responsibility was over
as far as the contact goes. thanks to the web page and
pre fox chatter I already know what the exchange will be.
The poor fox is the guy who actually has to pull out info
from the QSO and submit an accurate log for accountability. I found that
I didn't care what the fox was sending to me as long as I
recognized my call and got off the exchange.

I think next year we should make the hounds accountable for
their end of the contact too. Maybe the fox should send a
randomly generated serial number that the hounds have to
report to fox central to get credit for the contact.
