I apologize for the delay, but you don't want to hear about my 14 hour and minimum of 6 days a week for the last 7 weeks.

I do understand very clearly the imposition that I have placed upon you and others for this delay. I just got home from work (9:30 PM) and cannot get together a great announcement, but here are the facts that should help you plan your vacation.

The 2003 FDIM will be May 15 - 18, 2003, the Thursday through Sunday. Please visit the QRP-ARCI web page at :

This year's event will be essentially the same schedule as last year, except for the one shift in the date, due to the calendar roll. The Seminars will be on Thursday, May 15, 2003. The Vendor Night will be on Friday, May 16, 2003. The Banquet will be on Saturday night, May 17, 2003.

If possible, you could plan to arrive by early evening on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, since an event may be held on that evening, but it is too early to set a definite commitment. Many people cannot make it on Wednesday night, so I am not wanting to schedule something then.

Many requests for several different events may cause us to weigh the worse of the evils of not having more events, having concurrent events or adding Wednesday evening to the calendar.

So, that is the latest update.

Again, I apologize for not getting the full agenda in front of you before now. Please let me know if you have specific questions, and I will try to be a specific as the current plans allow.
