Hello Gang:

I'm just getting back on QRP after an absence of several years. Got this old Hw-8 with several problems, all of which I have solved except for lower than normal output.

I am showing .5 watts on 80 & 40 and about 1 watt on 20 & 15. I've checked the output transistor and zener on output with checker (not substitution yet), been over the board with the solder iron, alignment, etc.
Showing 1.8 RF volts drive to final.

Does anybody have an idea or two? I found reference to some old articles in QRP Quaterly back in 92 & 93 but have not been able to locate them.

Any help would be appreciated. It's great to be back on QRP again.
