I wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for their input. Also to update the situation.

So, thanks for all the help.

I put up a dipole, ran it under the eaves of the house. It is working great on both 40 and 15. I also took the suggestions to hang out around the CW QRP areas and that has helped as well. I routinely make contacts on both bands.

It is fun being back and also having support from groups like this.
